Calvin Cass ran for four touchdowns to lift
St. Augustine Prep (Richland, N.J.) to a 41-7 defeat over Lower Cape May (Cape May, N.J.). The scores gave the senior seven touchdowns for the year.
After taking the lead on a touchdown pass by
Alex Hughes in the first quarter, the Hermits led 27-0 at the half.
St. Augustine Prep expanded its lead to 34 points entering the fourth quarter. SAP scored two times in the third, including once on a touchdown run by Cass.
The Richland school put up 21 points in the second quarter en route to the win. The Hermits scored on a Cass touchdown run, a defensive touchdown and a touchdown run by Cass in the quarter.
The Tigers' lone touchdown came on a 15-yard run in the third quarter.
In a Cape-Atlantic - National game next week Lower Cape May (0-2) takes on Buena, and St. Augustine Prep (2-0) will go up against Vineland also in a Cape-Atlantic - National game.
