On Monday, the Walton Warriors's game was all tied up 24-24 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They came out on top against Deposit-Hancock by a score of 58-46. For Walton, this counts as revenge for the 51-49 defeat Deposit-Hancock walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2023.

Perhaps the best among them was Zech Begeal, who scored nine points along with 13 rebounds and two steals. Begeal has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last four times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Zach Russell, who scored 11 points along with six rebounds and two steals.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Unadilla Valley the next time they take the court. Deposit-Hancock will head out to face Unadilla Valley at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday, while Walton will host them at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
