Calvary Day School took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on High Point Christian Academy, who comes in off a win.
In what's become a running theme this season, High Point Christian Academy gave their fans yet another huge victory on Friday. They took their match at home with ease, bagging a 65-16 victory over Caldwell Academy. Given High Point Christian Academy's advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 13th, while Caldwell Academy is ranked 245th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Torrence continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 23 points. Another player making a difference was Aaliyah Townes, who scored ten points.
Meanwhile, Calvary Day School's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their fourth straight loss. They fell 43-35 to Hickory Christian Academy.
High Point Christian Academy pushed their record up to 17-3 with that win, which was their 19th straight at home. They've been dominating during the matchups in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 31.68 points. As for Calvary Day School, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost six of their last seven matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-12 record this season.
