Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Grants). They put the hurt on the Highland Hornets with a sharp 28-5 win on Friday. The victory continues a trend for the Pirates in their matchups with the Hornets: they've now won eight in a row.

Grants' win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-6. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.5 runs over those games. As for Highland, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 12 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-15-1 record this season.

Grants will square off against Moriarty at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Pintos will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Pirates surely won't give up without a fight. As for Highland, they will head out on the road to square off against Bosque at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
