Basketball Recap: Timber Creek Beats Northwest for Their Fourth Straight Victory

Timber Creek had won three straight games and Kylee Hunt did her part to make it four on Tuesday. The Timber Creek Falcons walked away with a 46-35 victory over the Northwest Texans thanks in part to Hunt, who went 5-for-10 on her way to 17 points. Those 17 points gave her a new career-high.

The team also got some help courtesy of Elena Gonzalez, who posted five points in addition to five boards and three steals. She has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times she's played.

Timber Creek's win bumped their record up to 22-10. As for Northwest, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 13 of their last 14 matchups, which has put a noticeable dent in their 11-23 record this season.

Timber Creek wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 55-40 victory against Lake Ridge on the 10th. Northwest does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
