Tremont's game  on Wednesday was a  loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them  on Friday. They were the clear victors by  an  8-1 margin over the Athens Warriors. The Turks not only won  on Friday, but they posted their biggest win  since April 21st (when they won  15-0).
 Maddie Feagin spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered a  run (which was  unearned)  on seven hits and racked up six Ks.
 At the plate,  Ivy Stuber was  incredible,  going 2-for-4 with one  home run, three  runs,  and two  RBI. That's the most  runs  she has posted since back in April.  Riley Poisal was another key player,  getting on base  in all three of her plate appearances with two  runs and one  RBI.
Tremont's victory bumped their record up to 8-11. As for Athens,  they are  on  a  three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 9-13.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Tremont will challenge Brimfield at 4:29  p.m.  on Wednesday. As for Athens, they will head out to  challenge Hartsburg-Emden  at 4:30  p.m.  on Monday. The Warriors are facing the Stags at the right time seeing as the Stags are stuck on  a  14-game losing streak.
