The Pitman Panthers will head out on the road to face off against the Collingswood Panthers at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Pitman will be strutting in after a win while Collingswood will be coming in after a defeat.
Pitman fell on hard times earlier this season, but after back-to-back victories it seems like their luck might finally be changing. Everything went their way against Pennsville Memorial on Friday as Pitman made off with a 35-14 win. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as Pitman just coasted through the last quarter.
Meanwhile, Collingswood fell victim to Gloucester City's stalwart defense on Friday and couldn't make it onto the board. They were dealt a 35-0 defeat at the hands of the Lions. While losing is never fun, Collingswood can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey football rankings (they are ranked 223rd, while Gloucester City is ranked 109th).
Pitman's victory bumped their record up to 4-4. As for Collingswood, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-5 record this season.
