Despite the defeat, Canadian saw an underclassman step up: Jayden Rogers scored 16 points along with 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Rogers scored a full 32.7% of Canadian's points, the third time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Tj Cook, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 12 rebounds.
Wetumka pushed their record up to 4-1 with that victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.7 points per game. As for Canadian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-2.
