The Boiling Springs Bubblers gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They enjoyed a cozy 63-49 win over Elizabethtown. This was payback for Boiling Springs, who suffered a 48-37 loss the last time these two teams met.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Boiling Springs to victory, but perhaps none more so than Brayden Richie, who scored 18 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Brandon Ascione, who scored 15 points.
Boiling Springs' win bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Elizabethtown, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.
Boiling Springs will head out on the road to face off against Bermudian Springs at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Elizabethtown, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Dallastown at 7:30 p.m.
