The biggest upset of the week belonged to Pleasant Grove, who took down 10th ranked Lone Peak, 26-24. MICHAEL ANDERSON threw for 291 yards and four touchdowns in the win.
Bingham took down American Fork 33-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.
The Vikings' offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. On the ground COLTON BABB chipped in 161 yards. SKYLER MUNSON helped Pleasant Grove's passing attack out by catching six balls for 130 yards.
Colby Smith made the biggest impact on defense this week as the Cavemen fell to the Miners. The 6-foot-3 senior racked up 1.0 sack.
DALLIN HATCH was the best wideout in 5A Region 4 this week as Pleasant Grove bested the Knights. HATCH racked up five receptions for 157 yards.
Les Hamilton's team's ANDERSON and MUNSON have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. ANDERSON has thrown for 1578 yards this season, while MUNSON, a 5-foot-11 receiver, has 30 catches for 761 yards. Lehi's Ryan Absher leads the league in rushing yards with 735.
The marquee game in the league this week will be the clash between Lone Peak and Riverton. Tony McGeary's team enters the contest ranked 14th in the state, while the Silverwolves ranks 17th.
The Pioneers made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 4,516 from 4,871. The improvement came about via a 42-21 victory over Lehi last week.
