A Season-Best Performance from Karmello Jones Leads Cross over Scott's Branch
Karmello Jones produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Cross to the win on Friday. Jones rushed for 289 yards and seven touchdowns while picking up 11.6 yards per carry, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 87-yard run.
The victory was the fourth in a row for Cross, bringing their record for this year to 6-2. Jones and Cross will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Bethune-Bowman at 7:30 p.m. on October 25th.

If the past is any indication, Grant could be in store for another big game when he takes on St. John's on Friday. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Grant saw the Islanders), he picked up 122 receiving yards and a touchdown.
