South Side had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9 runs) and they went ahead and made it five on Tuesday. They walked away with a 7-2 win over the Conway Christian Eagles. That's more bragging rights for the Hornet, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Case Walls made a splash no matter where he played. He tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Walls was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, one double, and one RBI.

Walls wasn't the only one making solid contact as three players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Cody Kuykendoll, who scored two runs while going 1-for-2. Those two runs gave Kuykendoll a new career-high. Kai Nichols was another, going 1-for-3 with three RBI and one double.

South Side's record now sits at 9-6. As for Conway Christian, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. South Side will head out to face off against West Side at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Conway Christian, they will venture away from home to take on Maumelle Charter at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
