The Indio Rajahs stacked a ninth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Wednesday. They claimed a resounding 101-23 win over Desert Mirage at home. Winning may never get old, but Indio sure is getting used to it with their seventh in a row.
Jeremy Corona-Rodriguez had a dynamite game for Indio, scoring 29 points. It was the first time this season that Corona-Rodriguez scored 15 or more points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jayden Gonzalez, who scored 20 points.
Despite the loss, Desert Mirage still got an impressive performance from Luis Jimenez, who scored seven points.
Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Desert Mirage struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only two offensive rebounds. They are winless (0-3) when they can't control their own glass like that.
Indio has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 17-5 record this season. As for Desert Mirage, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-17.
Indio will head out on the road to take on the Broncos at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Banning is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 52.1 points per game this season. As for Desert Mirage, they will be playing at home against the Trojans at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Yucca Valley has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 523 points over their last seven contests.
