Southeastern Christian Academy stacked a ninth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Tuesday. They claimed a resounding 75-40 win over Calvary Christian at home. Southeastern Christian Academy pushed the score to 53-25 by the end of the third, a deficit the Patriots had little chance of recovering from.
It was another big night for Thomas Sousa, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and ten rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Grady Price, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and ten rebounds.
Meanwhile, Dillon Christian made easy work of the Eagles on Friday and carried off a 72-50 win.
Dillon Christian got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Braxton Cummings out in front who dropped a double-double on 25 points and 16 rebounds. It was the first time this season that Cummings pulled down eight or more rebounds. Sean Locklear was another key contributor, almost dropping a double-double on 19 points and nine rebounds.
Southeastern Christian Academy is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season. As for Dillon Christian, their win bumped their record up to 10-8.
Some high-performance offense is likely on the agenda as the pair are some of the highest scoring teams in the league. Southeastern Christian Academy hasn't had any problem running up the score this season, having averaged 65.5 points per game. However, it's not like Dillon Christian struggles in that department as they've been averaging 60.2 points per game. With both teams so easily able to put up points, the only question left is who can run the score up higher.
