Not much got past Brody March, who gave up just a hit and racked up 13 Ks to keep Thomas Jefferson off the board. With that strong performance, March is now averaging an impressive 5.1 strikeouts per game.
At the plate, Griffin Gonsman was excellent, scoring a run while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.
Evergreen was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .500. The last time their batting average was this high was back in April of 2024.
Meanwhile, the third road match was the charm for Littleton, as they earned their first away win of the season. They won by a run and slipped past The Dalles 10-9. The Lions' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.
The team relied heavily on Finian Collins, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 3-for-3. Those two runs gave him a new career-high. Steve Dominguez IV also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.
The victory got Evergreen back to even at 3-3-1. As for Littleton, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-6.
