If the Caseville Eagles were riding high off their 79-48 takedown of the Owendale-Gagetown Bulldogs last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Caseville was outmatched by Kingston on the road and fell 75-43. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Caseville in their matchups with Kingston: they've now lost nine in a row.
Kingston got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Austin Deroseau out in front who scored 17 points along with seven rebounds. Owen Corlis was another key contributor, scoring 16 points along with six steals and five assists.
Caseville's loss dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Kingston, their win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-5.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Caseville will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Mayville at 7:30 p.m. on February 2nd. As for Kingston, they will square off against Vassar at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
