The Addison Knights will venture away from home to  square off against the Williamson Warriors  at 4:30  p.m.  on Friday. Addison will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.
15 must be Addison's lucky number: they beat Avoca-Prattsburgh with that score not once but twice  on Monday. The Knights beat the Titans by the very same score they won with in their prior game:  15-12.

  Brooklynn Seiger and  Ava Knowles did most of the damage at the plate:  Seiger  went 1-for-3 with three  RBI, two  runs,  and one  stolen base, while  Knowles  went 3-for-4 with three  runs, one  stolen base,  and one  RBI. Knowles has been hot recently, having  posted  at least one  stolen base the last four times she's  played.  Sophia Hulslander also deserves some recognition as  she  hit her first  double of the season.
Meanwhile, Williamson fought the good fight in their extra-innings  game against Cowanesque Valley  on Thursday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Indians by a score of  9-8. It was the first time  this season that the Warriors let down their fans at home.
 Kenna Thomas put in work while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she  struck out nine batters over  eight innings while giving up  six earned  (and three unearned) runs off   11  hits. Thomas was also solid in the batter's box,  going 2-for-4 with two  RBI.
 In other batting news,  Lexi Smalley was cooking despite her team's loss,   going 2-for-4 with three  RBI and one  run.  Kaegen Short was another key player,  going 2-for-5 with one  run and one  double.
 Addison pushed their record up to 6-2 with the  victory, which was their third straight  at home. The  home  wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 11.7 runs over those games. As for Williamson, the  loss was their first  at home , dropping their record down to 7-6.
 Addison might still be hurting after the  8-2 defeat they got from Williamson  in their previous matchup  back in May of 2024. Can the Knights avenge their  loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
