The Crowley Gent's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their 12th straight defeat. They had to suffer through a rough 60-19 loss at the hands of St. Martinville. Crowley has not had much luck with St. Martinville recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
Crowley's loss came despite strong showings from Joe'Kya Pete and D'Zyree Thorne. Pete scored two points along with 11 rebounds and two steals, while Thorne scored no points.
Crowley dropped their record down to 3-15 with that defeat, which was their seventh straight on the road. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 18.1 points per game. As for St. Martinville, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 19-7.
Crowley does not have any more games scheduled as of now. St. Martinville also has no future games currently scheduled.
