The HomeSchool Resource Center Patriots waltzed into their contest on Friday with two straight wins but they left with three. They put the hurt on Westlake Christian Academy with a sharp 55-33 win. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory HomeSchool Resource Center has posted against Westlake Christian Academy since November 23, 2019.
It was another big night for Mason O'Neal, who scored 25 points along with five rebounds and five steals. Another player making a difference was Cedrick Jefferson, who scored eight points along with three steals.
HomeSchool Resource Center pushed their record up to 12-14 with that victory, which was their third straight at home. As for Westlake Christian Academy, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost six of their last eight matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-8 record this season.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. HomeSchool Resource Center will take on Parkview Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Westlake Christian Academy won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Kankakee Trinity Academy at 11:30 a.m. on January 20th.
