Soccer Recap: Central Snaps Three-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

Central won the last time they faced Crystal River and things went their way on Thursday too. The Central Bears came out on top against the Crystal River Pirates by a score of 4-2. The score was all tied up 2-2 at the break, but the Bears were the better team in the second half.

Central's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-5. As for Crystal River, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-11.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Central will take on Weeki Wachee at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday. As for Crystal River, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Hudson at 7:30 p.m. on January 8, 2025.
