Given Desert Christian Academy's advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 632nd, while Nuview Bridge is ranked 1444th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Desert Christian Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jaden Herling, who scored 14 points along with four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Joshua Brown, who scored 14 points along with six rebounds and two steals.
Desert Christian Academy pushed their record up to 16-7 with that victory, which was their sixth straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.5 points per game. As for Nuview Bridge, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-11.
Desert Christian Academy will head out on the road to take on Santa Rosa Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. One thing working in Santa Rosa Academy's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last four games. As for Nuview Bridge, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Saint Jeanne de Lestonnac Catholic School at 6:30 p.m.
