The Stansbury Stallions have not had quite the year their fans were hoping for to this point, but back-to-back wins may be a sign of good things to come. They claimed a resounding 58-23 victory over Hillcrest at home. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest win Stansbury has managed all season.
Stansbury's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Brooke Jensen, who scored 12 points. Another player making a difference was Halley Mcgee, who scored 13 points.
Stansbury's win bumped their record up to 3-12. As for Hillcrest, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-17.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Park City the next time they take the court. Stansbury will host the Miners at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, while the Huskies will host them at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
