Union and Sebastopol are an even 4-4 against one another since March of 2018, but likely not for long. The Yellowjackets will challenge the Bobcats at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Union has given up an average of 6.7 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Union duked it out with Lake in a bug-themed battle on Saturday. The Yellowjackets lost 14-4 to the Hornets. The Yellowjackets haven't had much luck with the Hornets recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Kooper Fultz was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Sebastopol). Everything went their way against Forest on Saturday as they made off with a 19-7 victory. Considering the Bobcats have won eight matchups by more than nine runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Lowry Moore was a standout: he scored four runs and stole four bases while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. Those four stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Harrison Peebles, who scored three runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-4.

Sebastopol always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .683. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Sebastopol's record is now 17-5. As for Union, their loss dropped their record down to 13-8.

The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Tuesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Union has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 4.1 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Sebastopol struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 4.4 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.

Union came up short against Sebastopol when the teams last played back in April of 2024, falling 10-7. Can the Yellowjackets avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
