On Wednesday, Amistad came up short against Middletown and fell 51-43. Amistad has struggled against Middletown recently, as their contest on Wednesday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from LaShaya Patterson, who scored ten points along with nine rebounds and seven assists. Patterson is absolutely dominating the block category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Fatema Thomas was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with five rebounds and four steals.
Meanwhile, Law also suffered a loss in their last game, but this one to Foran by a score of 55-44. Law has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Amistad's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-7. As for Law, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-8 record this season.
