Dk Garza's Big Game Leads Alamo Heights over Victoria West
Dk Garza was instrumental in extending Alamo Heights's winning streak to seven on Friday. Garza was dynamite, rushing for 168 yards and three touchdowns on only six carries, while also picking up 34 receiving yards. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 79-yard run.
Alamo Heights' win was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-0. Garza and Alamo Heights will square off against Veterans Memorial at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Underclassman Hank Hendrix Major Player in Boerne Victory
It was an underclassman who stole the show on Friday as Hank Hendrix came into the game on a mission. He was unstoppable, throwing for 460 yards and four touchdowns while completing 79.4% of his passes, and also rushing for 32 yards.
For the year, Hendrix has thrown 20 touchdowns (and and only 3 picks) while averaging 297.5 passing yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he was only averaging 3.33 rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 10.83 rushing yards.

Alamo Heights was led to victory by Patrick Arriaga, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Sadly, Tristan Bernard posting his best game of the season wasn't enough to lead Victoria West over Alamo Heights on Friday. He was no stranger to the big play, lighting up the secondary with a catch that went for 58 yards.
