Last Wednesday, Cypress Park suffered a tough 5-2 defeat at the hands of Cypress Falls. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Cypress Park in their matchups with Cypress Falls: they've now lost three in a row.
Meanwhile, Cypress Woods was able to grind out a solid victory over Cypress Springs on Wednesday, taking the game 3-1. Three seems to be a good number for Cypress Woods as the squad scooped up a win with the same number of goals in their previous game.
Cypress Park's loss was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Cypress Woods, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-2-2 record this season.
Cypress Park suffered a grim 4-0 defeat to Cypress Woods in their previous meeting back in March of 2023. Can Cypress Park avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
