St. Clair County entered their tilt with Jacksonville on Tuesday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Golden Eagles a 13-0 shutout. The Fighting Saints might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 games by six runs or more this season.

Aniyah Dean was a standout: she got on base in all four of her plate appearances with one home run and two runs. Another player making a difference was Demeria Dean, who scored three runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-3.

St. Clair County always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .543. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Jacksonville only posted an OBP of .190.

St. Clair County pushed their record up to 20-13-1 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.0 runs over those games. As for Jacksonville, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-11.

Looking ahead, St. Clair County will head out to challenge Lincoln at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Jacksonville, they will square off against Wellborn at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
