Basketball Recap: Beach Piles Up the Points Against Southeast Bulloch

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Beach). They breezed by the Southeast Bulloch Yellow Jackets to the tune of 64-35 on Tuesday. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Bulldogs with their most commanding win of the season.

Beach had a senior duo take command as Jayden Newton went 11 for 20 on his way to 27 points and five steals and Chandler Reid dropped a double-double on 17 points and ten steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Newton has scored all season. Christian Barrett was another key player, putting up four points along with nine rebounds and three blocks.

Beach now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Southeast Bulloch, their loss was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-6.

Beach will head out to face off against Windsor Forest at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Beach has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Southeast Bulloch, they will face off against Calvary Day at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Calvary Day will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Southeast Bulloch surely won't give up without a fight.
