Adding to the longest winning streak in 5A District 2 this week, Guthrie beat Northwest Classen 45-8. The win marks 10th in a row for the the Bluejays.
The Knights lost to Guthrie 45-8 last week, the largest margin of any game. Fre'Darian Ashley was a bright spot for Northwest Classen, as he ran for 16 yards and caught 7 passes for 100 yards in the loss.
6-foot-0 quarterback Steven Thompson of Carl Albert is the league leader in passing yards this season with 1,263. He has also thrown 14 touchdowns. The leading receiver in the league this season is Ashley. The Northwest Classen star has 43 catches for 634 yards.
Chantz Woodberry of the the Titans is just 99 yards short of surpassing 1,000 rushing yards for the season. Woodberry has rushed for 901 yards on 111 carries so far this year.
Bishop McGuinness led the league in scoring this week by notching 56 points on Deer Creek.
