Gideon Davidson and Co. Win 19th in a Row
Gideon Davidson was instrumental in extending Liberty Christian's winning streak to 19 on Friday. Davidson turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 96 yards and two touchdowns on only 13 carries. He is on a roll when it comes to rushing touchdowns, as he's now punched in two or more in the last nine games he's played dating back to last season.
Rustburg had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw Davidson it was a similar story. Davidson rushed for 128 yards and two touchdowns the last time he and the Red Devils duked it out back in November of 2023.

Max Calloway Delivers Best Effort of Season
Glass was led to victory by Max Calloway, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Calloway threw for 163 yards and three touchdowns while completing 76.2% of his passes, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground, good enough to also set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
This year, Calloway has thrown 9 touchdowns while averaging 154.7 passing yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he had one rushing touchdown. This year he is already up to three.

Big Game from Wade As Amherst County Fell 31-24
The second Amherst County player making an appearance here is Devonte Wade, and for good reason. He rushed for 64 yards and two touchdowns, and also threw for 82 yards and a touchdown.
This season, Wade has thrown those 1 touchdown while averaging 24 passing yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he had five rushing touchdowns. This year he is already up to eight.
