After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Hiram, the Dalton Catamounts were happy to have found some success on Tuesday. They walked away with a 55-47 win over Woodland. That's another feather in the cap for Dalton, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Dalton's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jermichael Craft led the charge by scoring 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kobi Cooper, who scored 11 points along with seven rebounds.
Dalton's win bumped their record up to 5-11. As for Woodland, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-10.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Dalton will take on Cass at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Cass focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 12 last Friday. As for Woodland, they the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Cartersville at 8:00 p.m. on January 19th. Hopefully Cartersville focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 16 on Wednesday.
