Volleyball Recap: Kossuth Snags Sixth Win in Last Eight Games

Kossuth won the last time they faced Walnut and things went their way on Saturday too. The Aggies had just enough and edged out the Wildcats 2-1.

Dallyn Haupt paced Kossuth's offense, picking up 17 kills. Haupt got some help from Brenyn Wilbanks and her 29 assists. Wilbanks was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Kossuth has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-3-2 record this season. Having lost for the first time this season, Walnut fell to 7-1.

Kossuth wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Belmont on the 16th. Hopefully Walnut paid attention to the Aggies' game: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Aggies at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday.
