Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Madison Academy). They simply couldn't be stopped on Monday as they easily beat the Lawrence County Red Devils 85-55. The Mustangs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five matchups by 30 points or more this season.

Madison Academy's win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-6. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.7 points per game. As for Lawrence County, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-10 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Madison Academy will head out to challenge Westminster Christian Academy at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Lawrence County, they will head out on the road to take on Decatur at 7:30 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
