After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Enfield, Avon was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 16-3 margin over the Canton Warriors. The Falcons might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 13 matchups by seven runs or more this season.

Avon has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-6-1 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.4 runs over those games. As for Canton, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-8.

Avon does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Canton, they will challenge East Granby at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday.
