On Thursday, Woodland are packing up and heading on the road for the first time this season. They face off against Placer at 5:30 PM. It might come down to the wire as the game is expected to be close.
Everything went Woodland's way against Colfax last Thursday as they made off with a 29-6 win.
Meanwhile, it could have been worse for Placer, but it could have been a whole lot better too, as the team fell 12-28 to Whitney last week. Placer were down by 0-28 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
Woodland's victory lifted them to 3-0 while Placer's loss dropped them down to 1-2. We'll find out if Woodland can add another positive mark to their record or if Placer can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Woodland's step.
