Brusly had already won nine in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9.3 runs) and they went ahead and made it ten on Friday. Everything went their way against the Central Wildcats as they made off with a 14-3 win. The result was nothing new for the Panthers, who have now won 11 contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Brusly's victory was their eighth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Central, the loss snapped their winning streak at five games and leaves them with a 8-6 record.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Brusly will square off against Dutchtown at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Central, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Central Wildcats duke it out with Woodlawn-B.R. Panthers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Woodlawn-B.R. has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 12.1 runs per game on average), something Central will no doubt try to take advantage of.
