They took their game at home on Friday with ease, bagging a 46-8 win over Ferriday. Considering Kentwood has won five contests by more than 29 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Kentwood's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Eric Earl jr, who threw for 346 yards and five touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes. Jermaine Brown was another key contributor, picking up 176 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Kentwood is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-2 record this season. As for Ferriday, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-7 record this season.
Kentwood will look to defend their home field on Friday against Homer at 7:00 p.m. Ferriday does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
