Cincinnati Christian can now show off six landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Saturday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Lockland 53-10 at home. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 31-4.
It was another big night for Serena Cyprien, who scored 22 points along with eight steals. She hasn't dropped below two steals for nine straight games. Kaylin Davis was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with four steals.
Belmont suffered their biggest loss since December 6, 2023 on Thursday. They were the victim of a rough 87-66 defeat at the hands of Thurgood Marshall. Belmont has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Cincinnati Christian is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-2 record this season. As for Belmont, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-11.
Cincinnati Christian strolled past Belmont in their previous matchup back in November of 2023 by a score of 63-48. The rematch might be a little tougher for Cincinnati Christian since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
