Shipley scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Wednesday. They enjoyed a cozy 63-49 victory over Lansdale Catholic. The victory was some much needed relief for Shipley as it spelled an end to their five-game losing streak.
Gyasi Miller was his usual excellent self, shooting 4-for-6 from deep and dropping a double-double on 20 points and ten rebounds. Those ten rebounds set a new season-high mark for him. Will Littles, Jr was another key contributor, scoring 13 points.
Shipley's victory bumped their record up to 3-8. As for Lansdale Catholic, they bumped their record down to 1-8 with that loss, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season.
Shipley will head out on the road to face off against Westtown at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Westtown presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Shipley in Pennsylvania (Westtown is ranked 100th, while Shipley is ranked 394th). As for Lansdale Catholic, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Roman Catholic at 7:00 p.m. Roman Catholic will be coming into the game with an undefeated record on the line.
