The Noxapater Tigers lost against the Nanih Waiya Warriors last Friday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Noxapater took a 39-29 hit to the loss column at the hands of Nanih Waiya. Noxapater has not had much luck with Nanih Waiya recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Nanih Waiya's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Nyshea Hoskin, who scored 18 points along with six rebounds. Another player making a difference was Leah Robinson, who scored 14 points.
Noxapater's loss was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 7-14. As for Nanih Waiya, the win (which was their 11th in a row) raised their record to 22-2.
Noxapater does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Nanih Waiya, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 52-31 victory vs. Velma Jackson on the 9th.
