  Emerson Pauley was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she  didn't allow a single  earned run over seven innings pitched. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't  pitched less than five  innings in six consecutive pitching appearances. She was also big at the plate,  going 2-for-4 with two  RBI.
 In other batting news,  Amy Pickering was  incredible,  scoring three  runs and  stealing two bases while going 3-for-4. The dominant performance  gave  her a new career-high in  batting average.
 Milan's victory was  their fourth straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 8-4. As for Putnam County, they now  have a losing record at 3-4.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Milan will venture away from home to  take on Brookfield  at 5:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for Putnam County, they are taking a road trip to  challenge Schuyler County  at 5:00  p.m.  on Monday. Putnam County is facing Schuyler County at the right time seeing as Schuyler County is stuck on  a  five-game losing streak.
