Eustis proved they can win big last Friday (they won by ten) and on Monday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 7-6 victory over the South Lake Eagles. For the Panthers, this counts as revenge for the 3-2 win the Eagles walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2023.
Carson Roden spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered five earned (and one unearned) runs on six hits and racked up 12 Ks.

Luke wasn't the only one working in the home run department: Eustis lost a few balls and finished the game with three home runs. That's the most home runs they've managed all season.
