First Baptist put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They put the hurt on the Wylie Prep Academy Patriots with a sharp 16-1 victory. That's two games straight that the Saints have won by exactly 15 runs.

Allison Munnerlyn spent all four innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered a run (which was unearned) on one hit.

At the plate, Abi Bistrian was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing three bases while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances. Bistrian is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: she's snagged at least one every time she's taken the field this season. Kolbie Gillispie was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing three bases while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances.

First Baptist always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .733. That was just more of the same: they've now posted an OBP of .652 or higher every time they've taken the field this season.

First Baptist pushed their record up to 4-0 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. First Baptist will venture away from home to face off against Lakehill Prep at 3:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Wylie Prep Academy, they will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on Dallas Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
