Scout Silva Delivers Best Performance of Season
Scout Silva produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Turlock to the win on Friday. Silva rushed for 106 yards and three touchdowns on only 15 carries, and also threw for 132 yards and two touchdowns, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
The victory was the fourth in a row for Turlock, bringing their record for this year to 5-3. Silva and Turlock are taking a road trip to challenge Modesto at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Emmanuel Vasquez was a major factor in Gregori's victory over Modesto on Friday. Vasquez did his part (and then some), throwing for 186 yards and a touchdown while completing 76.5% of his passes, and also rushing for 32 yards and a touchdown for the 'W'. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, picking up a sack and making eight total tackles.
On the season, Vasquez has thrown 16 touchdowns while averaging 122.4 passing yards per game. It gets even more impressive: after eight games last season, he was only averaging 34.81 passer rating per game. This year he is averaging 79.53 passer rating.

Vanntheesouk Dam Crosses Big Stat Threshold
Vanntheesouk Dam put up the most rushing yards he's had since back in August of 2023 on Friday. He rushed for 161 yards and a touchdown. He's now once again averaging 100+ rushing yards (107.5) per game.
This season, Dam has run in 11 touchdowns while averaging 107.5 rushing yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after eight games last season, he had two rushing touchdowns.

On Friday, Downey had to settle for second even though Noah Sacuskie put up the best numbers he has all season. Sacuskie wasn't messing around, picking up two sacks, forcing a fumble, and making ten total tackles. The game was his eighth straight with six or more total tackles dating back to last season.
The defeat snapped Downey's winning streak at seven games and leaves them with a 7-1 record. Sacuskie and Downey will challenge Enochs at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
