It was a good run, but the Woodville-Tompkins Wolverines unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Friday. They took a 79-75 hit to the loss column at the hands of Bradwell Institute. Despite running the score up even higher than they did on Thursday (55), Woodville-Tompkins still had to take the loss.
Tahshaun Frasier was his usual excellent self, scoring 24 points along with eight rebounds and seven assists for Bradwell Institute. That makes it three consecutive games in which Frasier has scored at least 25% of Bradwell Institute's points. Christopher Perry was another key contributor, scoring 18 points along with six blocks and five rebounds.
Woodville-Tompkins' defeat ended a eight-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 12-2. As for Bradwell Institute, their win was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 14-0.
Woodville-Tompkins will take on Bethune-Bowman at TBD on Saturday. As for Bradwell Institute, they will head out on the road to face off against Liberty County at 7:00 p.m. on January 6, 2024.
