C. Wombles turned in yet another pitching appearance with fewer than three walks surrendered on Monday. He didn't allow a single earned run while striking out ten over seven innings pitched, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. He also tossed a walk, which is notable because Johnson County is 4-1 when he allows at most two walks, but 1-2 otherwise.

Looking ahead, Wombles and Johnson County will head out on the road to face off against Glascock County at 5:30 p.m. on March 25th. Johnson County is 8-2 against Glascock County going back to March of 2019, a lead they'll look to extend.
