Monadnock put the finishing touches on their 3rd blowout victory of the season on Saturday. They were the clear victor by a 24-0 margin over Newport. That's another feather in the cap for Monadnock, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
The win bumped Monadnock's record up to 5-0. Newport are still searching for that first win as they fell to 0-5.
Next week Monadnock take on Hillsboro-Deering/Hopkinton at 1:30 PM. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a win streak alive as Monadnock skips in on five wins and Hillsboro-Deering/Hopkinton on three. Newport will be playing at home against Somersworth at at 1:30 PM.
