Timberline has gone 8-2 against Boise recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Wolves will be playing at home against the Brave at 6:30 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty run totals in their previous games.
Timberline came out on top against Cole Valley Christian on Saturday thanks in part to the team's impressive ten-run first inning. The Wolves blew past the Chargers 15-1. That looming 15-1 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Wolves yet this season.
David Ryden made a splash while hitting and pitching. He pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has become a key player for Timberline: the team is undefeated when he allows at most three hits, but 5-9 otherwise. Ryden was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. Those three hits gave him a new career-high.

In other batting news, Timberline got a big performance out of Cannon Searl, who went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one double. Those two stolen bases gave Searl a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Isaac Mills, who went 2-for-3 with four RBI and one double.
Timberline kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. They are a perfect 4-0 when they post 11 or more hits.
Meanwhile, Boise can bid farewell to their eight-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They skirted past Rocky Mountain 10-8. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Brave have posted since March 14th.
Arthur Boyles and Brody Newbery made a big impact no matter where they played. On the mound, Boyles pitched 5.1 innings while giving up five earned (and three unearned) runs off three hits. Meanwhile, Newbery tossed 1.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. At the plate, Boyles got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one run and one RBI, while Newbery got on base in two of his five plate appearances with three stolen bases and one run.
In other batting news, Brennan Davis was incredible, going 1-for-3 with one home run and three RBI. That home run marked the first that he has launched this season. Jaylen Kerner was another key player, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with two runs.
Boise's victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-6 and their overall record up to 8-11. As for Timberline, their win bumped their record up to 8-9.
Timberline came out on top in a nail-biter against Boise when the teams last played back in April of 2025, sneaking past 4-2. Do the Wolves have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Brave turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
