Tucker Byrnes turned in yet another pitching appearance with more than six strikeouts on Thursday. He produced his best game of the campaign: he struck out five batters over six innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. Smithfield is undefeated when Byrnes allows one or fewer earned runs, but 3-4 otherwise.
