It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Bremond Tigers had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They breezed by Yorktown at home to the tune of 55-0. Considering Bremond has won eight contests by more than 21 points this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.
Bremond's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Koben Zan, who rushed for 107 yards and a touchdown on only six carries, and also threw for 123 yards and a touchdown while completing 77.8% of his passes. The team also got some help courtesy of Terrence Scott, who rushed for 114 yards and three touchdowns on only 11 carries.
The win was the fifth in a row for Bremond, bringing their record for this year to 8-3. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.2 points per game. As for Yorktown, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-6.
Bremond does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Yorktown also has no future games currently scheduled.
